Interesting article by Cal Newport on and innovation over at Study Hacks. This hack is particularly focused on students and it just rang a bell for me. The examples that he gives on innovation are exactly what I look for when I hire. There has to be a spark that got them going and I want to know what it is. Enough to bring them in for an interview. If there is a real fire in the eyes, then I would be hiring them. That is, if I had a budget these days.
